a seagull went inside the country
she ought to see the countryside
alone a guy saw her
she was talking about her journey
i saw barley and corn plains
saw the highway and the cities between it
from the sky
i saw things
and thought i was luckyto fly
he said i've been there
but my journey
tought me things from the floor
from the asphalt jungle
i saw plains and mountains
but what i loved the most was the river
that i knew
it could take me back to the sea
